He faithfully served in True Love Church of Hong Kong Evangelical Lutheran Church, where he also was baptized. He worked as a secondary school teacher in Hong Kong and was later recommended by his pastor to work as an editor/translator for the denomination publishing house, while at the same time, attending extension classes at Hong Kong Lutheran Seminary.

In 1986 Chi Ho and his wife, Grace, came to the United States to further their studies. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from University of Utah and a Master’s degree from UCLA. After finishing school, Chi Ho worked as an immigration specialist for several law firms in the Los Angeles area until the end of 2011.

Chi Ho served faithfully as a member of San Gabriel Valley Alliance Church, Arcadia, CA. During this time, he completed 8 years of studies with Bible Studies Fellowship International. He was called by the Lord to pursue theological studies and graduated with a Master’s in Biblical Studies at Truth Baptist Theological Seminary. Chi Ho started his part-time pastoral internship at San Gabriel Valley Alliance Church in March 2008. Sensing God’s calling to enter into full-time ministry, he retired his 17-year career in law at the end of 2011, becoming a full-time pastoral staff with San Gabriel Valley Alliance Church from January 2012 to October 2013. It was then that Chi Ho was called to join FCBC Walnut on 10/13/2013 as a Cantonese Minister, focusing his work on the Cantonese Ministry. He has been ordained by the church since 4/30/2017.

His passions are in preaching, teaching, discipleship, caring and visitation. He is also a soccer fan, and enjoys raising his two daughters, Rebecca and Sarah.
